Your receipts, not your bank.
Track groceries without sharing your bank login.
Other budget apps want your bank credentials. Alydo just needs your receipts, and a receipt shows every item where a bank feed shows one total per shop.
No bank login, no password. Your data is never sold.
Example: Mel and Tom’s Saturday shop. Figures are illustrative.

Questions about privacy
Why doesn't Alydo require bank login?
We believe you shouldn't have to share your banking credentials just to track grocery spending. Receipts contain all the information needed for detailed tracking, without the security risks of bank account access.
How does receipt-based tracking compare to bank tracking?
Receipt tracking is more detailed. A bank statement shows only "WOOLWORTHS $142.50", where Alydo shows every item, price and discount. You get better insights without handing over bank access.
What data does Alydo collect and store?
Mainly what you give us: the receipts you scan or forward (items, prices, stores and dates), your lists, and your email address. We also record which features you use, count anonymous page views, and keep a security log of sign-ins for 90 days. We don't use your device's location, and we never ask for any bank or card details. The privacy policy lists everything.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. In Settings, under Your data, choose Delete account and confirm. Your account, receipts and the lists you created are deleted straight away, not after a waiting period, including for anyone you shared those lists with. A security log of sign-ins and the deletion itself (IP address and browser) is kept for 90 days, then deleted, as the privacy policy explains.
Is my receipt data shared with anyone?
Only to run the service, and we never sell it. The receipt photo or PDF goes to Google's Gemini API, which turns it into items and prices. We send the file and nothing about your account. Discounts found on your receipts are added to Community Specials without your name. If you join a household, its members can see your receipts. We never pass your data to advertisers or data brokers. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
